Down a steep and sandy bank.
All around are things to thank,
Gaia for the warm spring breeze,
blowing gently through popular trees.
Through a muddy trench to find
paradise, and leave your cares behind.
A narrow path opens to sparkling sand.
A long slim beach carved by God’s hand.
Children scatter across the shore
a sigh escapes, who could ask for more.
Sandy bodies, smiling faces,
laughter reaching to far places.
On the horizon the sun hangs low
Too soon it will be time to go
An afternoon on a hidden shore
Leaves everyone wanting more
Best to savor those special places
Let the moment give what nothing replaces.
